Nevaeh tells Tyanna that she's moving out of the house and in with Mark.
Nevaeh is almost all packed up and ready to go. Most of her stuff is already at Mark's apartment, leaving just a few bags and the kitten. She still has to make sure it's ok for her to /bring/ the kitten. Surely Mark won't mind. She'll use the cute eyes if she has to. Bubblingly happy, Nev bounds towards Tyanna's door. She's still dressed up in black slacks and a matching black top, but her hair is a cotton candy pink with eyes to match. "Ty-aaaaaaana."
And it's Metallica's S&M CD that's blaring from Ty's stereo today. An odd mix of popular music with an orchestra. Ty is prone on her bed, Melody laying on her tummy. Her eyes are closed, and it would appear that she's attempting to relax, or meditate. Or something. "Come in." she calls out to the summons, opening one fire-red eye long enough to see who it is. "What's up, Nev?"
Nevaeh floats, literally, into the room, legs curling up into a sitting position as she begins to twirl, eyes closed. "Hoooooom..." She pretends to meditate, spinning in mid air until she lands on the edge of the bed softly. Pink eyes flutter open as Nev grins. "Guess what?!"
Tyanna watches Nevaeh with an amused eye, finally sitting up and pushing Melody off onto the floor. The fluffy cat pauses long enough to flick her tail at Nev and Ty, then slips under the bed. "You...learned how to meditate in mid-air." She takes a wild stab at it, then grins. "What?"
Nevaeh giggles and topples backwards, arms outstretched. "Oh no, silly, I've been able to do that since I was like.. 17." Her grin widens, shoulders bunching excitedly around her neck. "Mark and I are moving in together!" She squeals happily and bounces up and down on the bed. "We'll be sleeping in the same room and turning the spare room into a nursery for our eventual babies. How /cute/ is that?!"
Tyanna's eyes widen, but she manages to hide her initial disappointment. So much for Ty, Bec, and Nev becoming SIN's version of Charlie's Angels. She smiles brightly. "That's great! I mean, if you're sure you're ready for that? It's a big change and everything." She does sober up just enough to add, "You know that'll cancel your scholarships here, right?"
Nevaeh sees the smile and her own brightens considerably. She knew Tyanna would happy for her. "Oh I'm so ready. I mean it's a big step and I'm kinda nervous. But I love him so much. And it feels right." She wraps her arms around herself and giggles again. She certainly seems pleased about it. "Scholarships? Oh no. Actually my parents are just paying for me to be here. Horse farmer. They're loaded." Which explains her wardrobe despite the fact that she doesn't have a job.
Tyanna nods. "Well then you should do it, especially since there's nothing holding you back." She smiles again for Nevaeh's benefit. On the bright side, she'll never have to keep secrets from Mark about what really goes on in this mansion. Then everything stops. "Wait wait. Your parents raise HORSES? Why didn't you tell me this???" And on to another subject, one of Ty's favorites. Horses.
Nevaeh bobbles her head happily. "But we'll still get to hang out right? I mean, I'll still be going to school here. Just not staying in the house." That seems to be the only thing worrying her about the situation. She finally made two good friends, she'd hate to lose them over this. She blinks. "Yeah. I guess.. I just didn't.. think of it?" She squeaks.
Tyanna seems very assured. "Of course! We just won't be hanging out here much, probably. Do you know how to ride a motorcycle?" If Nev is going to hang out with Becca and Tyanna, she's got to learn how to ride. Ty nods enthusiastically. "I'm a horse nut. What kinda horses do they raise?" Now she bounces on the bed, and an annoyed rowl is heard from underneath.
"Well that's all right, I never hung out much here anyway. Besides the only ones who really ever acknowledged my presence was you and Becca. Ms. Frost probably won't even notice I'm gone. It's not like I've ever even talked to her after my initial starting here." She shrugs. "Which made my decision that much easier. I know where I'm going, I'm actually wanted. And no. But I'm a quick learner?" She grins, having never guessed that Ty would like horses. "Clydesdales. They're the largest supplier in Tennessee."
Tyanna grins. "You're going to have to learn to keep up with us, girl. It's really not all that hard, just a matter of keeping balance and stuff." She laughs a little. "Clydesdales are adorable! The foals look like ponies, if their legs weren't so long. I like to ride, I just haven't in a few years."
Nevaeh laughs. "Well it might take a couple days, but I bet I'll get the hang of it." She can almost guarantee it. "Aren't they though? I love their legs! Especially the feet. They're so cute." She agrees, curling up into a sitting position. "Why don't we head down for a vacation at some point?"
"Well, we gotta get you a bike first." Tyanna says, with a sage nod. Sport bike, to be sure. Although Ty and Becca have Valkyries, maybe Nev will want one of those. She giggles a little. "That sounds awesome! Do your parents keep any horses for riding, or can we try riding one of the Clydesdales?" Yep, that would be something she would try. Riding a draft horse.
"Well me and my sister and brothers each have our own horse, plus my parents have one each. So I'm sure they'll let you borrow one. I guess you can try to rise one of the Clydes, but that's not really what they're trained for, so it might be dangerous." She points out, not mentioning that it's never stopped her before. Of course whatever bike they get her will be perfect. Because it'll be hers.
Tyanna grins at Nevaeh. "You think the fact that something is dangerous has ever stopped me?" she queries, shaking her head. Danger is not something that usually bothers Ty, and probably never will. "Besides, they might get the idea that I'm just a really heavy plow harness." She doubts that, though. Her fingers drop down to wiggle and entice Melody out from under the bed. "So when do you move?"
Nevaeh grins. "Now why would I go and think something like that? I might not know you too well, but I do know you enough know better." she winks, and watches, waiting to see if the cat will come out from hiding. "Most of my stuff is already there, just have to bring the last of it over. And tell Ms.Frost. But it's so hard getting to talk to her I guess I'll just leave a note."
Tyanna shakes her head in mock innocence. "I'll behave myself, I promise!" Finally managing to get Melody most of the way out from under the bed, she plunks the very fluffy version of Garfield down in between her and Nevaeh. "I could tell her, if you wanted. Are you taking the kitten with you?" Ty hopes so, she really can't take it back.
Nevaeh grins. "Well don't act /too/ unlike yourself." She grins, wriggling her eyebrows teasingly as she giggles. A hand reaches out to stroke the cat, smile still in place. "That'll work. You sound as if you talk to her on a semi-normal basis." She shrugs. "And yes, I'll be taking the kitten. I'm sure Mark will love her." She hopes.
Tyanna grins as Melody starts her rumble-purr as she's getting petted. The cat is almost a perfect oval shape. "I probably talk to her more than anyone here. She's a hard woman to catch, and generally I hang out next to her office door and accost her as she comes by." She flashes Nev a smile. "That's good, everybody should have a cat."
Nevaeh grins and shrugs. "I've really had no reason to try and catch her. And she doesn't go out of her way to see me. So it's a mutual sort of disregard." The girl giggles and begins to slide off of the bed, smooching the cat's head right between the ears. "I agree. I just hope Roger.. our dog, will be ok with a kitten around the house. He's a big goofball so I'm sure he'll be either scared or excited. But I should probably go finish packing."
Tyanna nods at Nevaeh, smiling as Melody stands up when the other girl does. She wants more pettage. "Well, if you need any help moving, give me a hollar. And don't forget to keep my number around, cause Becca and I can always use help with trouble." Causing it, not stopping it.
Nevaeh floats once more towards the door and grins. "It's easier to move things when all you have to do is hold it and float." You don't have to constantly worry about tripping. "But I will, thank you!" She grins and glances back for a final wave. "I'll call you soon. Promise." And she's gone.
