So I saw the new Transformer movie yesterday...

The most amusing part of the entire night for me was during the previews when the trailer for the next Twilight movie played (and a bunch of the girls/women in the audience gasped and squealed and applauded and one lady even yelled, "Go Edward!") and at the end Jacob turned into a werewolf and a 16 year old kid a couple seats down from me ( Read more... )

Aw man. I heard the second Transformers lacked quite a bit of substance in comparision to the first one. I floved the first one soo much and I loved the humour in that one ( ... )

John Cho FTW! I got a Sulu toy from Burger King that says "Warp three, sir," when you press a button on his back. I make him talk whenever I want Brian to hurry up and do something.

he'll flub up the second one because he's focusing on other things like graphics and explosions and less of what the script says.

I think that's exactly the problem. He spent so much time trying to make bigger and better robots that he didn't pay enough attention to the people.

I'm getting excited about the HP movie. The previews look good. I hope it is!

Oh man! LOL! I wanted to get those toys. My sister and I were laughing really hard over them and how our Star Trek fandom is growing! First the glasses, and then I got a poster and now she wants me to go and get the Star Trek magazine from the bookstore, lol! I seriously cannot wait to see the DVD packed with all those extras ( ... )

Indeed, we'll always have Star Trek.

It's inevitable that I'll see this at some point, but hopefully it'll be in the dollar theater. Though I have a friend who's determined to see it, bad reviews or no, so I might get dragged...

It really is sad. I enjoyed the first so much more than I ever thought I would, and was looking forward to this. Oh, well.

Well, after another day of reflection, I'm thinking I want to see it again now. There may be something wrong with me. I just keep questioning whether or not certain things are as bad as I remember them being. I still don't think it was even close to being as good as the first and I know some parts were definitely terrible, but I think I need to give it another chance. It may just be the optimist in me...she wants to like this movie!
