Okay, non.no again. Yeah, as if I actually translated anything else these days...

By the way, surely you girls have all heard the news about Kanjani's upcoming appearance on Mannequin 5? Um, I'm excited for it and everything, but I just can't help sobbing a little while wondering, Johnny san, why can't it be KAT-TUN instead? *sigh*

No more ramble, here you go, to Aiba chan and Jun, in the sunlight and over coffee. Lovely scene, I tell you, and somehow I've got this strange feeling that I've come across a similar scene somewhere, maybe in a fic... And for the love of God, there's a dash of Jun-blush to compliment too XD Read, you'll know what I mean.

Aiba Masaki X Matsumoto Jun

Vol.41 - 「Tea’s Arashi」
A coffee break taken leisurely amidst the soft morning sun rays, now, let us enjoy our readymade drinks to the fullest ♥

From the theme 「tea」 as assigned by Ninomiya kun we have prepared a list of possible topics for this talk, including tea ceremony, latte art, afternoon tea, etc. In the end, the one that got selected was “coffee break”. Bathed in the autumn sunlight from the window, Aiba kun X Matsumoto kun enjoyed a relaxing moment with their beloved coffee break. In that soothing atmosphere, the two of them let us listen in on their talk about “tea and relationship”.

A cup of tea in between work can always help me reset my level of energy

Aiba: The photo shoot today had this kind of soothing effect, right~ ♪
Jun: Spending time to enjoy tea like that sure was a great idea. Just that, don’t you think the coffee I make tasted rather too strong?
Aiba: You think so? For me, I like that kind of distinct flavor. It’s my habit to drink black coffee without any sugar or milk first thing in the morning. Well, when I was a kid, it was just me pretending to be all cool by saying 「When it comes to coffee, it’s gotta be black」 and trying hard to swallow the bitter drink. But these days, I truly think that black coffee tastes good. Looks like I have grown up, right? (laugh)
Jun: Surely you have grown (laugh). In my case, I usually only drink water in the morning. Coffee is saved for in the afternoon, when I want to reset my level of energy during work, or when I go to a café by myself and have some while reading a book.
Aiba: Um, sometimes I also order a cup of coffee at the restaurant, to go with the dessert after the main course, you know.
Jun: There was this one time I had coffee at a restaurant that left a strong impression. That time, they mixed coffee with watered down Awamori. I heard that was the way people from Ishigaki-jima drink. The taste was absolutely delicious. Oh and, when I get served one of those latte art drinks at cafés, I would be…… (his voice becomes smaller) quite happy…… I guess? (blush)
(T/N: Awamori is an alcoholic beverage originated from Okinawa, Japan. From what I know, it’s a pretty classy drink, expensive and strong. Ishigaki-jima, or Ishigaki Island, is a place to the west of Okinawa. Its culture is under influences from both Japan and China.)
Aiba: What a cute comment you’ve made there!
Jun: Well then, shall we get down to introducing Aiba san’s cute side too? I know that whenever you intend to make some coffee, you always make sure to arrange your schedule so that you have abundant time to enjoy it.
Aiba: Right, right, I want to give it my full attention, or else it would be rude to the coffee (laugh). MatsuJun, I have this impression that besides coffee, you’re also quite into tea?
Jun: Partly it’s because I’m rather sensitive to cold, I think. That’s why hot tea is my favorite. At home, I usually make traditional tea. Recently, a friend of mine gave me a Chinese tea set, and it has become my habit to bring it out when I have guests who don’t drink alcohol. Aiba san, aside from coffee, you like…… barley tea?
Aiba: That’s right, it’s the drink I got used to since I was a kid playing baseball in grade school. As for Nino, he prefers coffee, doesn’t he? Black coffee: check, consideration of time to make coffee: check, you see, his “coffee practice” is quite similar to mine (laugh). Shou chan, let me see, rather than tea or coffee, I think he’d prefer plain water.
Jun: In Ohno san’s case, nothing’s fixed, he would just take the nearest drink and have a sip (laugh).
Aiba: Water or soup, whatever goes, right?
Jun: Because we’re always together, we have come to understand all of the others’ tastes, right? Ah, but, come to think of it, the five of us have had tea together before.
Aiba: Well, that’s because when guys go out, it’s usually either 「Let’s go for a meal」 or 「Let’s have a drink」. Tea and stuffs are more like girls’ specialty. I wonder what they talk about when they have tea though. Maybe their conversations are like ours today, full of trivial, meaningless things?
Jun: If I’m ever invited to have tea, I’d be more than willing to go!
Aiba: (answer at once) I would love to join ♪ If “only tea” gets boring, we can go for a meal later too. Basically, I’d appreciate it if our choices are not restricted (laugh).

The next theme is decided by Aiba chan!
