Went to Urbino with the school. Saw a Ducal Palace and a university. It was pretty boring, so I'm not gonna write about it.

One thing I noticed about France while I was in Sacre Couer, its warm in the churches there. I remember actually wanting to take my coat off during mass at Notre Dame. Every church in Italy has absolutely freezing, but France heats their chapels and cathedrals. More money? Maybe. Also, there was almost nothing under construction, in start ( Read more... )

Yesterday for Italian Art we went to the Duomo Museum. Apparently not alot of people know it exists, so it was pretty empty. Apparently its a privately run museum still operated by the Opa, and it was as close to modern architecture inside as I think you can get in Florence. This was our last day in Rome. We packed our bags and dropped them off in luggage storage, checked out of the hotel, and met our Baroque tour guide in Piazza Navona. Ok so the Coliseum was just great. It’s basically exactly what you’d expect it to be, having seen it in movies and pictures and on TV. But despite being exactly what you were expecting, it’s still amazing and it feels crazy to be inside.
