Chaser spoke so calmly he seemed impossible to upset, whatever happened he never seemed depressed, worried, or irritated, he was as dependable as a rock. His brother had died only recently, Richard had been in prison, he was caring for his deeply disturbed niece, and yet somehow he didn't show emotional distress. As a priest other people came first, he had to focus on helping those he could and accepting what he had no power over, he had to have faith in God.
