Song: So Fine

-----

"Go and talk to him already!"

"But what am I supposed to say? Usually people ask the person they're interested in to go out and get some coffee.... But what happens when the person you like MAKES the coffee? Do I ask him if we could go to his work so he could make us the coffee?"

The blackette groaned, smacking his head into the table as his friend patted him on the back. The couple earned a few odd looks, but the onlookers turned away as they noticed nothing else was going to happen.

"Well, most people aren't in your predictiment..." his friend sighed, leaning back in his chair as he sipped his drink. Glancing at the counter, he saw the redhead that was causing his friend all this trouble

Jung Jinyoung. Junior majoring in Music Composition with a minor of Acting. Well off. Handsome. Charming personality.. He was the deffition of 'Perfection'...  Or at least that's what Chanshik says.

"Chan, you've had a crush on him since last year. It's about time you did something about it."

"But that's the problem! I don't know what to do, Hyung..." His face was still against the table, the sentences coming out in a mumble that he was used too. Running a hand through his hair, Shinwoo stood up and walked over to the counter without a word. The younger looked up hearing the chair scrape against the floor in surprise.

"W-wait... hyung... WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE-"

"Hey Jinyoung." He waved, smiling as he came closer to the counter. The redhead blinked in surprise, but smiled back. "Hey. How are you?"

"Great. I was wondering if you're busy tomorrow. A friend of mine wants to hang out and I know you've been busy... Would you like to join us?" The elder inwardly smiled, knowng that Chanshik's face must be filled with horror. If he kept on complaining about how he would be 'forever-alone' for the rest of his life because of his lack in social skills... Shinwoo was sure he'd find a way to blow up the world and everything else with it.

Taking a moment, the male mentally scrolled through his schedule for the next day and nodded. "You're lucky. Tomorrow happens to be my day off." he chuckled, getting a spare towel to wipe his working space. "But who's you're friend? I don't want to be intruding on you guys..."

Smirking, Shinwoo turned around and waved it off. "Don't worry. He'll be estatic to hear you'll be coming." he walked back to the table Chanshik was sitting at, leaving Jinyoung with a confused look. "... Estatic?" he tilted his head to the side, pondering for a moment before he had to help a customer.

'Wonder what he meant by that...'

Not hiding his amusement at all, Shinwoo sat down next to the blackette, smiling as daggers were being glared at him.

"I can't believe you just did that."

"Did what?" he sipped at his coffee.

"Are you SERI-... Nevermind." Chanshik grumbled, stuffing his face with his now cold, 'hot chocolate'. The teen's cheeks were flushed red, but he refused to look at his hyung, knowing that internally he was greatful for what he did.

"Be ready at 3 pm tomorrow, alright? We'll meet up in front of the park."

"Fine..."

-----

The day was cool, but the sun was shining, making the weather perfect for the occasion. Chanshik rocked back and forth on the balls of his feet, softly whistling as he waited for his hyung to arrive. Shinwoo said that they would meet up earlier so he could give his dongsaeng a few tips on what to do during their 'date' - the blackette refused to call their meet up as a 'date' , but Shinwoo stated the deffinition from the dictionary and in the end he had to agree. But his hyung was already late by 20 minutes, and Jinyoung would be there soon.

"Where is he... I'm going to kill Shinwoo-hyung doesn't come here in the next 5 minutes..."

"Excuse me, do you happen to be Shinwoo's friend? I could've sworn I heard you mention his name..."

Brown hues widened, his body turning stiff as he heard a certain melodic voice talk to him. Chanshik gulped, not knowing what to do in this situation. He usually would have used prior knowledge, or anything close to it when he didn't know how to react. But this was the first time he would be talking to his crush. Alone. Just the two of them.

He could feel his brain shut down, leaving him with a simple thought.

'If I make it out of this alive, Shinwoo-hyung's going to learn to be afraid of  dinosaurs... Angry dinosaurs.'

"N-neh..." he slowly turned around, trying to smile as he faced the other. Chanshik tried not to stare. He really did. But when your crush for a year is standing in front of you with casual clothes and somehow looks like he walked out of a fashion magizine, you would want to stare too.

"I-is there something on my face?" Jinyoung blushed, noticing that the male hadn't blinked since he faced him. Awkwardly running his hand over his face, the elder of the two tried wiping away the non-exsisting blemish. "I'm sorry. I woke up not too long ago, and I might've not cleaned up as well as I usually do-..."

"No! You're fine! Perfect, really."

'... Shit.'

The redhead blushed more, covering the front of his mouth with his hand. "Perfect?..." his gaze slowly met Chanshik's, and the blackette could've sworn his heart stopped. "No one's given me a compliment like that before... Thank you."

He'd always seen it from afar. And it was always for some one else. Someone else who deserved to make him smile. But not once did Chanshik think that he would make his crush smile... That sweet, meaningful smile he gave only to those who really made him happy.

"N-No problem..." He looked down, kicking the closest pebble so he wouldn't have to show how red his cheeks were. A soft gust of wind blew by, a bird tweeted off in the distance, but neither of them said anything in the hanging silence.

'Oh look what you did, Gong Chanshik. Openly complimenting him like that... Not to mention how extremely cheesy that was... I mean... 'Perfect?' You called him 'Perfect?'... Ugh. You are the biggest pabo the world has ever see-...'

His thoughts were cut off as he felt someone tilt his chin up. He gulped again, his mouth going dry as he was met with Jinyoung's face just a few inches away from his own. Their breath mixed with each other, the small wisps brushing against Chanshik's nose. The embarressed smile from a moment ago was now playful - his eyes roaming up and down the other's frame.

"You know, you're pretty perfect yourself."

-----

"So... How did it go?"

"I'm going to kill you-"

"But didn't I help you-"

"I'm still going to kill you."

"Wait..." the smile on his hyung's face started to grow, as did the flush on his cheeks. "Does that mean it went well?" Chanshik was hesitant to respond, his eyes focusing on the cup of french vanilla coffee. "...Maybe."

The grin spread across his hyung's face, and the younger continued looking down at his steaming drink. "Mind telling me the details? I'm sure it must've gone extremely well." Shinwoo nudged his dongsaeng with his shoulder. "I mean, it was Jinyoung I set you up wit-..."

"Hey Shinwoo-hyung... Chanshik-ah." Jinyoung wandered to their table, a soft blush on his cheeks as he mentioned the latter's name. "Does the coffee taste good?" he smiled, his eyes glancing back and forth between the two.

"Neh. It's p-perfect, hyung..." His voice slowed down, the same blush now appearing on Chanshik's face. The younger barely met the other's gaze, but their eyes did meet for a second, causing both of them to look away.

"I'm glad you like it..." Jinyoung held the empty tray in his hands in front of his chest, his smile glowing. "I just wanted to know if you liked it." he slowly backed away, heading back to the counter. A few steps from their table, he turned back around, biting his lip as he spoke.

"Are you free saturday night? I happen to have an extra ticket to the movies and I was wondering if you'd like to go with me..."

Chanshik smiled, nodding as he tried to ignore how big Shinwoo's grin had grown."Neh. It sounds perfect, hyung... Perfect."
