Summary: After being stuck inside, looking on the brighter side of things can lighten up a day. Even just a little.
Kibum looked out the window next to him and sighed. He was planning to go swimming, but the sky had suddenly turned grey with thunder echoing in the distance. He puffed as he went back in the SHINee apartment, annoyed that he wasn't able to continue with his plans that day.
Let's just say, Kibum wasn't exactly an 'indoors' kinda person. He always had some pent-up energy stored somewhere, and on certain days it needed to be let out; like today. Too bad God decided to make a thunderstorm appear right as he was heading outside.
Today was a surprisngly boring day for the SHINee members; Minho never woke up, (mainly because he was with Dream Team yesterday, so he was completely drained) Taemin and Jonghyun were watching horror movies non-stop, (Even with Taemin whining for Jonghyun to choose a happier movie so he wouldn't have nightmares. He was utterly ignored.) and Jinki was silently reading on the couch a few feet away, not making much movement except for occasionly flipping a page or adjusting his glasses.
After 45 mins of starring daggers at the grey clouds that for some odd reason had not almost never-ending raindrops, Kibum grabbed his towel and practically burst out the door, not caring if he was going to get electrocuted while swimming, until he noticed someone following him.
He spun around, metting an un-expecting Jinki who walked straight into him. The leader backed up sightly, apoligizing while rubbing his head, embarrassed by the look the groups' 'umma' was givng him.
Kibum didn't know how he hadn't noticed, but it seemed that while he was waiting for the weather to clear up, Jinki must've asked if he could join him, and he muttered some kind of agreement.
That would explain why the older of the two was only dressed in his swimming trunks and a striped green and white towel draped around his neck; perfectly showing his well-toned abs and overal lean but secretly sexy body. Kibum had to glane away before he took in anymore of the goregeous sight, and coughed into his fist to cover up the blush that graced his porclane face.
After agreeing that it would be better to head to the pool and swim even just a few mintues before the storm started, they continued on their way; neither really speaking as both boys were in their own confused thoughts. As they approached the pool area, Kibum gave up on walking and let out his stored energy by running and diving into the cool blue water. He could hear the muffeled sound of laughter as he rose back to the surface, shaking his now soaking-wet hair out of his vision.
Jinki was still trying to calm his laughing as he placed down their towels, for Kibum had dropped his on his rush to get into the pool. But it wasn't long 'till another splash of water and whinning about 'my-hair' was heard through the air.

"Kibum?"
"Hmm?"
"You know, if you spend your whole life waiting for the storm, you'll never enjoy the sunshine."
"True. But that's not the case right now."
"And why would that be?"
"Jinki.... It's raining."
"....."
"Oh."

Okkies~ This was my first fanfic that I actually finished.. >_> -feels like a failure- But I do admit that I love it so. =) Well, I think of it more of a drabble.. Really short to me. But I ment to keep it that way. XD (I can never seem to keep a chaptered fic going.. So I've shot myself down to oneshots... XD) I wrote this while I was in the Phillippines.. at like.. 3 Am.. O-o Don't ask me how, but I always write better when it's dark and lonely and no one can bug me.... Oh my gosh, I sound like some loner... -breaks into singing I'm A Loner by C.N Blue- Lol. XD
