This is most definitely on the weekend *nods and coughs*

Carolyn sat on her four-poster completely bored. Butterscotch had gone swooning after Peaches again and her dorm mates all seemed to be off elsewhere as well. Her weight was resting mostly on her hands behind her as she sat, swinging her feet off the edge of the bed, as she tried to make a list of possible things she could tackle on this rather low ( Read more... )

Sirius read the note happily. He'd been looking forward to the weekend outing for the last couple of days, and he was glad to see Carolyn hadn't backed out; mischief was best accomplished in pairs (at least). Quickly, he penned a response.

Carrie - You bet I am! Meet me in the courtyard in fifteen. - Sirius

With that, Sirius gathered a few essentials and made his way to the courtyard, humming giddily all the while.

She squeed at the answer on the note but had to quickly throw a hand over her mouth and look around to make sure their weren't any spies. She was actually going to use that path. Not just dream about doing so and feel guilty about it. Carolyn was going to do something exciting that didn't include giving a make-over or playing charades. A little part of her even hoped that they would get caught! Though the rest of her pushed that aside. What a silly thought.

Carolyn checked herself in the mirror before heading out trying to look as casual as possible; if Hestia found out that she was sneaking off with Sirius- even if it was just for the good of Sabrina- she'd wouldn't hear the end of it. She just hated upsetting her friends.

There he was; her co-conspiracer for the afternoon. The hufflepuff smiled wildly, giggling a bit, not really believing what she was actually going to do. "Why hello there Mr. Black," she beamed, "ready to stir up some mischief?... wow. Is that as weird sounding to you as it is me?"

"You might be surprised," Sirius answered with an eyebrow waggle, turning to greet his co-conspirator, "but I hear that I lot more often than you'd think." He chuckled and nodded towards the waiting world. The sun was shining and the air was decently warm for the season, so that a number of other students were running around or lounging about as the mood struck them. It should be easy to slip off unnoticed, Sirius thought, so long as they didn't encounter any adults along this 'secret' path of Carolyn's. "Are you ready, Miss Barrie?" he now returned, grinning.

Well that made sense; for him to have heard things like that before. Those Gryffindor boys were quiet well known for their mischief, even more-so known for how it was next to impossible to incriminate them for their deeds unless they confessed! Carolyn however was hardly one to put a toe out of line for fear of what would happen. But the forest was so pretty... and she had been in there quite a few times with Ogg, surely enough she could manage on her own. Just think of all the creatures she could investigate while on their little feild trip! And it was for Sabrina. That made whatever consequences worth it. Sabrina was like her sister and if she needed a party than by-golly she was going to help make that party the best ever. And one can not have the greatest party without crackers; that's just crazy talk ( ... )
