So it seems I should have listened to James and waited that extra 15 minutes before fetching poor little Mrs. Norris out of the suit of Armour ( Read more... )

I told you. You should've waited the fifteen minutes.

What is it with you and cats?

I know I know, but I had nothing to occupy my time with. I think it was a trap anyways, Filch just kinda appeared just as I was setting her down. Ah well, detention with Ogg will be fun.

Its not just cats, I love all animals they're all just so darn cute and quite fascinating to learn about. I really have no other explanation for it. I'm sure there is something that you really love and can't quite explain why. I think everyone does.

Enjoy your detention.

Or shall I say your 'Date with Ogg'?

That's not really a detention if you enjoy it. Word to the wise: don't let any of the other teachers know that you want to serve this detention, for if they learn it will surely be changed.

Well it's not like it should be a detention in the first place, even Professor Sprout tried to argue it for me. But yeah I know, none of the teachers will ever find out! Although Kettleburn will probably assume something is up when I go to Care of Magical Creatures with new knowledge. Lucky for me that will not be until after the detention and hopefully I will not have any others.

Once again, I point out..You should've waited the fifteen minutes.

But, I do feel sorry for you still..Filch goes mental if anything happens to that cat.

Heehee and I apologize for not listening to you, James.

Not just to his cat, he goes mental if you even step in the hall! He's probably just lonely, or hes had some tramatic experience in his younger days. Did you know he has shackles hanging up in his office? It's quite unsettling expecially when he threatens you with them.

Hate to seem dull, Miss Barry, but... what is an "Oreo?"

Oh! They are scrupdiliumptious cookies! It's two chocolate cookies with vanilla icing in between them. Their actually really popular in London. My neighbour gives us large boxes of them. I could ask my mommy if she could send me some if you wish.

Scrup...dili...what? I'm not sure that's a word. And if it is, I'm not sure it's spelled correctly... No clear etymology or anything, see.

As for the cookies, they do sound delightful; I love chocolate.

Heehee, I would actually be quite surprised if it is a word, I just made it up. Though if it is a word than someone was having the same brain wave as myself. That would be quite creepy.

Okay, that settles it! I'm getting my mommy to send me some for you. Oh they are quite delicious, you will really enjoy them.
