CareBear,

Of course, see you in the Great Hall in about 40 seconds.

It had taken Sabrina 38 seconds to get from her dorm room in the Ravenclaw tower, down to the Great Hall. She was quite proud of herself. Sure, she was panting a little, but it was still impressive considering the amount of stairs.

Looking around she failed to see her Hufflepuff friend and so seated herself at the Ravenclaw table and waited. It would be impolite of her to begin eating especially since Carrie had invited her specifically for brunch.

Carolyn could only giggle when Sabrina's reply came in that she would meet her in 40 seconds: Carolyn would be late for her own brunch 'date'. She quickly made her way from the Hufflepuff commonroom to the great hall and even though her route was much quicker than her friends; she still managed to get there second.

"I almost thought you were going to tell me you were off with Remus!" she teased once she got to the table and only loud enough for Sabrina to hear. She wasn't sure if the hogsmede date had been made public.

Sabrina's cheeks tinted a crimson colour as she quickly glanced around to see if anyone had heard. The young Ravenclaw wasn't sure herself, if the date was exactly public. She didn't want to upset Remus in anyway.

"Of course not. Friends are always first" she replied with a grin. She offered the seat beside her to Carolyn. She wasn't a Ravenclaw, but it was brunch and who really cared at this hour?

"So how've you been?" she asked munching on a piece of burnt toast.

"I've been, erm, keeping up. Sleep has been a bit difficult and that squirrel incident didn't help matters, but I'll be okay. I hope" If it hadn't of been for her friends still pink cheeks and old quirk of the burnt foods, Carolyn might have found herself in a moment. It's not that she was still upset, she had mostly forgiven everything and blamed it on high stress levels of her family. Carolyn was still just worried; Mark still hadn't returned to school -nor had Charlie- and she hadn't recieved any word of why this was.

Carolyn picked up a peice of bacon and bit the end on it, enjoying the taste on her tongue. "How about you, besides being all oogly of course."
