Nothing wrong with being an isolationist if it makes you happy! Nothing wrong with trying again if that's what you want, either.

You really have a flair for direct writing. I dig it.

The isolationist thing...I'm probably going to return to it at some point. I often ask myself if I'm like *this* because I'm naturally like this or is or have I become my isolationist job? Evidently my job is going to be big theme with me this season...

Working with, in and around, a theme for Idol is a strong approach, imo. Actually, in life I think it's a good way to see further, see deeper, understand things from a learned and far-reaching perspective. Your job is a good place to step into this journey.

The older I get the more isolated I become. And I'm good with it.

It's one thing to think it, it's another to see it written down :/

Aw man. It sounds tough. People are tough. There's nothing wrong with knowing what you need and what you want. It's balancing that with being a friend that's tricky. And it sounds especially tricky with your schedule. Good energy to you!

Aw, thanks :) When I first started this whole bakery thing, I was purely chasing the money, the baking shift being the "premium" at the time. I remember being told why it was the "premium" but it didn't sink in for a very long time, mostly because I was too exhausted to care, LOL.

I had the luxury with What Was Current Employer to bounce around -- bake one day, do other stuff on a "regular" schedule the next, etc. New Current Employer doesn't do that and I'm feeling it quite keenly.
