At the time our now ex-housemates, husband and wife, were, respectively, a retail sales manager and a teacher. Ah! well, I am the kind who likes to talk about my day after it ends and I this doesn't seem to be a pleasant situation where no one's interested. My mom's side of family is like that, they do not speak unless spoken to or only when it's absolutely necessary. It feels weird when I visit them.

Aww! Such an awkward situation that must have been. My husband was playing an online game for a while I know that involved a lot of role play, and he was always talking to those people with his headphones on. I got tired of being a gamer widow, and I talked to him about it. He eventually quit the game because there was too much drama anyway. It's nice for us both to be able to do our own thing, but I need to be able to talk to him too!
