i saw this play when i was a kid, and totally loved it.. but it never clicked that Julie Taymor (who I think is totally awesome) was the costume designer until I was watching my Lion King Platinum Edition DVD special features-- that had a chunk on the broadway play. I just got home from Calgary, Alberta yesterday morning (6:00 a.m). I was there for the Canadian National Volleyball Championships and LOVED IT. We placed 5th out of th 102 teams that qualified... I'd say that's quite an honour. I seriously cannot wait for next year's tournament!

i have returned from New York City! and my trip was FABULOUS. We saw Jersey Boys, a SWEET broadway show, went to Ellen's Stardust Diner (everyone ALWAYS raves about it! but it was GREAT!).
