i really feel your pain. because that is exactly how i fee when i am home....i get called in almost as much as i am scheduled to work, and it drives me crazy! its insane that there really are only like 10 people working anymore. a store just can't function like that because people do need some time off. its not a full time job. if we were looking for full time work then we would get a full time job....you know one that might actually pay us more then crap...

but then again, in a few weeks we'll all be bitching because there are no hours...we should really hire holiday help (ie: from thanksgiving until easter) and that's it...

i really hope this works out for you because trust me i know how you feel...i've so been there before and i think i have had near identical updates to this one (except for the celebrating valentines day part)

I used to like getting called in because I needed the hours.. but now its just crazy. Last week Marie got her wisdom teeth removed- so I covered for her. Betty was just in a car accident- so I covered for her. Elaine had a doctors appointment today so she couldn't come in, so it left Cathy all by herself this morning, but thankfully Inge came in after rescheduling her hair app. to do so. Ashley's going to Chicago, you and Becky are away at school, I mean theres just not enough people working there to cover for someone when they really need to. You're right this isn't a full time job, if it was I wouldn't be complaining.

We need to hire more people and get them trained instead of waiting until the last minute to do so and throwing them in during the holidays.

I really hope this works out for me too, if not I'm sure you'll be reading more LJ posts of me bitching.. ahhhh! screw hallmark!

wow what a week! and i forgot until you mentioned her that inge got back this week...that might help a little bit, but she really only works short day shifts anyway....

yeah really, its bad enough that we have the bare minimum when everyone is able to work, let alone when all those things happen in the same week! its insane! maybe someday the fischers will get it through their heads...
