On Series Five of Doctor Who, Supernatural fic, and Inception
It's been much too long since I've had any good rants... or, perhaps more accurately, an LJ post. So, let's go with this.
The Doctor Who post may have very vague spoilers, but I'll "white out" the major/specific ones. For Inception, I'm sticking with the vaguest of spoilers-more like a review than anything.

1) This. No, really, all of this. *sigh* (Also, I was thinking about this the other day... when did my expectations for this series go up? I was going to write an entry about it the other day, but pretty uch got as far as basic backbone of what I was saying and was like, "oh, look, other stuff." See:
It's odd, really, that I didn't really take to this series. I love the the characters, but the episodes just... didn't do it for me. I would say I was expecting too much, but I'm one of the people who spent the last year rolling my eyes at the "Moffat Is My Saviour" icons. Maybe I just didn't buy into my own hype.
Guys, did I really have faith in the Moffat all along? Did the fans convince me to trust him? Or did xobscurexomenx somehow soften my Moffat-doubt? I don't know, guys. I just don't ( ... )
