Dustin's gone...my little side kick is gone!

It kills me that I wasn't with him when it happened. Dr. King just told me that he took a turn for the worse early this morning and he passed away about an hour ago. I wish he would've called me, it's not like I could get any sleep last night worrying about him!

awww, cera... I'm so sorry! I know how hard it is to lose a pet. Sometimes it's harder than losing a family member because you form such a bond with them. Just remember that you got to spend a lot of good years with him :) Take it easy this weekend.... I read that Jeff got you a spa pass, maybe it'd be a good time to try to wind down. Take Care, Cera!

Thanks Jill for your kind words! This would be the most difficult death that I've had to deal with yet and I know it's not over because I'm still in shock. I lost it this morning, but I'm feeling a little better now!

I did have many good years with him and that just one reason why it makes the whole situation so difficult!

I plan on relaxing this weekend! I should use that spa pass...I could use some pampering!

Thanks Jenni! I could use a good bottle of wine...do you have any suggestions? I know you are a guru of sorts! I don't like dry or red wines as much, but hell if you think it's good then I'll go out and buy it!

Try a good Riesling. Relax is not bad (in a blue bottle). Also you may like white merlot. It's a rose color (almost the color of white zinfandel, but not cheap shit like white zin).

If you do use your spa certificate this weekend, I suggest a seaweed wrap. They are really nice and good detox for your body too. :)

I shall go and purchase some tomorrow, thank you. I'm having a difficult time relaxing through this whole thing. My jaw is just in pain from being all tense. I took a Motrin 600 and I feel a little better but I'm still so restless...I keep trying to do stuff and I just need to relax!

I'm going to use the little eye pillow that you gave me and I think I still have a little bit of spray for my pillow...that stuff always helps and I need it to work tonight!

It's alright Andrea I don't expect everyone to check lj on a daily basis. I just posted it to get it off my chest at the time....Jeff wasn't awake yet when I got the news and I didn't want him to lose sleep and be all crabby for work.
