Soft Cups vs Diva Cup: my opinion & Possible Beta Reader Request
Okay, as many of you might have already seen, I'm temporarily displaced while they're suppose to be working on the apartment (nothing has been done yet and it's been a month!). Originally, we were told it was only going to be a week or thereabouts, so when I packed my stuff I didn't bring my cup since I had just finished my period. Month later, I regret that so much.
I was out and about today when I started. I really didn't want to get pads or tampons and I didn't want to shell out the money for a new cup, so I grabbed the Soft Cups. People have told me that they are good and comparable to the Diva. Yeah, no, not for me. I seriously could not get them to go in right. Nothing I did made a difference and I might as well have not been wearing it. I had to break down and buy a new cup. Which isn't really a problem since I was considering getting on anyway, but still, I hate that it happened like this.
My problem with the Soft Cups though, is that my body curves a little oddly and the Soft Cup couldn't sit properly. With the Diva, it sits well despite the curve and forms a nice suction barrier.
Okay, so, I'm in a fair amount of pain (I hate cramps), drained beyond belief, and exhausted, so I'm heading off to bed now.
Also, for those who might have seen my post yesterday about my new fic (SGA/HP cross), I am looking for a beta reader for when I am finished. I do have someone already lined up, but I'd like another one just to make sure I don't have huge plot holes and the like. If anyone's interested let me know.
