I was reading back through my LJ last night after having a conversation with Julia and Jolena about this common interest that is reading all of our old entries and being nostalgic for a few hours every few months

It's hard to get comfortable with a fire when it's always changing. It has the potential of being too hot...or not hot enough. The longer you sit next to that fire the easier it is to deal with when it does indeed fluctuate, by that time you know exactly where to shift to make yourself comfortable again.
