I don't think it's "retarded" at all that you got involved with him... I mean, he's a great guy and if you didn't get involved with him look what you would be missing... Right? I guess the point I'm not so good at making is that if you really like him then cherish your time together instead of worrying what COULD possibly happen. You could be together for another day, a month, or a year... the point is that if it makes you happy, then don't worry about what tommorrow brings

Hey Amanda, it's Kaitlyn. And she's right. You CAN'T worry about anything now. Especially if he hasn't signed up yet. Derek (my boyfriend) is in the Army and that's what I've learned to do. Between Iraq, Korea, Kosovo, Cuba (where he's already been), New Orleans, and Afghanistan there are enough worries and lots of talk about all of it but you can't concentrate on all that until he's walking away from you, ready to go.
