so i leave in exactly 2 weeks. im so so scared. i really dont wanna go. i dont do good with change and things like this. im going to miss my friends so much and im really going to miss jeffrey. he has become such a major part of my life. this is going to be kinda hard for me but hopefully ill be able to do it and you guys will come see me.

Hey lady, don't worry about it. Soon you'll be meeting all kinds of people and you'll have friends all over campus!!! The first couple weeks will be kinda awkward but just keep a positive attitude. ILU!!! I won't be able to come see you much bc I'll be in Maine but I'll def keep in touch. Kk? Kk.

ill try to keep a positive attitude. i know ill be fine but im still so scared and im going to miss you guys so much. we will def. need to keep in touch and hang out over vacations and such. so dont forget my number. 978-516-8069

I think we are all scared. It's hard to live in this little town for our whole lives with the same classmates and the same friends and the same surroundings. It makes it really hard to leave the familiar.

But it's all about growing up and growing out. Think about it this way. This is the next chapter of your life. You get to move on to bigger and (hopefully) better things. You will make new friends who will be your bridesmaids and your enemies and your crushes. In some ways, we have all outgrown high school and friendships and even our own personalities. In other ways, we will never lose what we had here. The halls of NRHS, the Friday night lights, the people who have known us for longer than we can remember.....those things will never leave us. So we can have both. The memories we built here and the new life we are about to meet head on. Think about it like a new adventure, and it won't look so scary.
