(no subject)
after the semester from hell...i'm having a pretty good break. first, let me recap this semester...i will leave out events that happened before it started to make it sorta crappy, but yeah....here goes:
- discrete math and c++...enough said
- finally getting back to being myself, my cousin, who i am extremely close to, passes away on halloween
- more fun with discrete and c++ = marci having no life
- finally starting to fully 'cope'(i can't think of a better word) with my cousin's death..then a close family friend, kara (who was only 34 and has a 4 year old), passed away unexpectedly
...but now the semester is over, and i am full of glee. when i say i have the most amazing friends, i really do.
so since i've arrived home on wendesday, what have i done? let's see. thursday, i went out to eat with arlee and tish at pf changs and it was good...and expensive. then we cruised over to best buy so i could see what dan's coworker actually looked like. also purchased gifts for heather and meems while there. then back to tish's, from where we went to see team america (my third time, her first) and then we went to gabe's, but alas no great finds. damn. went out to denny's with everyone and got made fun of for knitting, but i'm awesome and they're just jealous! also got a free meal from creepy waiter who apparently smelled lke pee.
friday was lunch with arlee, tish, and dana. much fun was had. especially when the bus almost pulled into us in lawerenceville...that was super rad! kings was fun, and now i am superawesome and have a free sundae. then i got home, got *gasp* two of my grades and then went to work. it was actually fun, even if i did have the asshole pulling a whole "big brother is watching you". went out to friday's with smeyres and then eat n park with the fni crew.
saturday was sleeping in and the joys of some more tj maxx fun. and that it was. after work, went out to eat again with monica, smeyres, ashlee, tish, meems and dan. fun was had then as well. came home, slept.
sunday was more tj maxx funness! kaitlyn is awesome for getting someone to do the hammer dance for us. though i don't think either of us could do it still and we'll just stick to the "tj maxx dance", thanks. but it was fun yesterday. and i enjoyed myself. and my dad did something nice: he bought me boots. they're part of my christmas gift, but i needed them badly so yeah. it was nice of him. i was sorta shocked.
ok that's it. sorry to bore you all. thanks to everyone who's made break fun so far...and i swear, i will get up to kilimanjaro once i have my pretty new tires on my car! <3
