This is for my Gaia account, which asked for a sample of my writing techniques. This is from a one-shot of mine that is thus-far unfinished, but if you're genuinly interested, I'll share other exerpts from stories I've put more focus into to make sure they would also be something you would enjoy working on.
*note, dialogue is set in different colors for different characters.*

Panel 2 - We see through a pair of opening eyes. It’s fuzzy, but we can make out two figures standing overhead.

Panel 3 - We see with clearer vision a man. He seems ragged, but kind-faced. He wears rimless glasses and a white lab coat.

Panel 1 - We see a young, teenage boy lying on a lab table. He has on a green latex jumpsuit. He has black hair and different colored eyes. One blue and one green. From ports in the jumpsuit, there are thick wires connected to different machines.
Are my son.

Page 4 - 6-panel page
Panel 1 - We see the outside of a mansion. In the back of the mansion, there is a large observatory and greenhouse.
Panel 2 - We see the Professor sitting down at his desk, working on some papers. Off panel, a voice calls for him.
Professor? Professor?
Panel 3 - The door opens, and we see it is the boy. He’s still in the jumpsuit.
Professor Hasegawa, are you in here?
Panel 4 - The Professor turns around, scratching the back of his head.
I’m sorry. Is there something you want?
There is a phone call for you, Professor. From Kaneko-san.
O-Oh, thank you.
Panel 5 - As the Professor stands and motions to the door, he fixes his tie.
And by the way, you don’t have to address me so formally, Aiko-kun.
Professor?
Panel 6 - He passes by the boy and smiles as he walks down the hallway.
I just want you to call me “dad.”

Panel 1 - We see the boy watch the Professor go, looking sad and very slated.
Very well.
I am A.I.K.O. And android created by Professor Hasegawa and his assistants. But…
Panel 2 - Aiko drops his head, sighing.
I’m not sure what I am supposed to be doing for the Professor.
Panel 3 - We see a series of flashbacks. Aiko eating, Aiko bathing, Aiko sleeping, Aiko reading.
In many ways, I am like a human. I must eat, bathe, rest, and learn. But I am not human.
Panel 4 - We see the Professor standing at the phone, talking with Kaneko. From around a wall, Aiko watches him.
The Professor says I am his son, but what is a son supposed to do for his father?
Yes, it’s fine. If you’re sick, you can’t help it.
Why was I invented?
I'm sure it's confusing, but you get used to it, trust me ^_^; especially when I provide the character/color code. This is just what works for me and was written as such for my benefit, but if someone is interested in collaborating and can't really get used to it, I'd happily help with the step-by-step process.
