I totally remember that. We made kool-aid a lot too and i remember there was this plant near the house you guys moved to that you told me was poisinous if i touched it so for TEN YEARS after that i was terrified to touch those bushes. I used to have to walk right by one every day to go to school and i'd literally dodge and jump into the street to avoid touching the dumb bush...

sorry for the terror. it was probably an oleander. and they are poisonous-- but my mom instilled a fear of them in me because she saw karen pick a leaf once and start to chew on it or something. there is actually a book where a woman boiled oleander leaves and killed her husband with the water they were boiled in... but i can't remember what it is, my sister read it. oh yeah, kool-aid was my favorite and i still drink it ALL the time. and i remember Ian being allergic to metal of some sort and apple peels... and now i'm allergic to apple peels which sucks. we were so cool. OH remember that day in first grade where we had to dress up and dance around in a circle and you wore leiterhosen?! (i don't know how to spell that.) we have pictures of us, we were so fucking cute.
sorry for going off so far with this. i just remember so much stuff from that age. there is more, but i will stop here.
