WHOAH THE LIGHTS CHANGE COLORS!
What a weekend this is turning out to be!
Well it was amazing :)
The day went by sooooooo slow. My head definitely wasn't on school, which was okay because I really didn't have to think. I thought I was going to die leaving jazzband, but everything was okay, and Mette seemed to be in much better spirits. I love my keyboardy girls :)
I ran out the door (since I left as lateas humanly possible) and got to the hair place. I didn't exactly know what I wanted, but the lady guided me through the style, and everyone was really nice there. I went to Hair and Now, which I definitely recommend. So my hair came out amazing, and I was so, so happy. I wasn't facing the mirror when she was doing the hair, so the outcome was a total surprise (a good one though hehe). The flowers were very cute :)
Then I went to pick up the flowers while the florists gawked at my hair hehe.
I went home, dumped my stuff on the floor, and basked in the glory that is my mirror :P I was like "wow...it's prom night" like, the whole time. My mom came home early, and then her friend came to do my makeup. It was really funny because she wanted my mom to pluck some eyebrow hairs but my mom couldn't see without her glasses, and thus she got fired haha.
Then I put on my dress and looked at myself and said "wow". And then realized that now I got to wait for Kevin who made me VERY NERVOUS because he didn't come at 5 haha <3 We went to Pla's house and everyone looked very nice (I laughed at the poof <3). We took a zillion pictures while looking into the sun, then Fernando (our driver of course <3) got us into the limo. Kevin and I got in last, so we got to play with all the buttons inside the limo. I found out that the lights changed colors, and it was very fascinating! Okay everyone made fun of me haha, but I'm so over it :P
We got to the country club and everyone looked so pretty and handsome! Mr. Tracy and Mrs. Tucker said I looked stunning (which was obviously the highlight of the evening :P), and Mrs. King decided to go with the red shirt haha. Mr. Carr and his weird hair wife was there haha (Hen got him to do the YMCA lateron lol).
The Limo crew, plus Kristen, Rich, Greg, and Scuba were at the table. We played telephone and admired Joe's spiky hair haha. Those things were weapons.
The pictures went well and I so cannot wait to get them.
The dancing was sooooooo much fun! They had a really good variety of music--moreso than normal high school dances haha. I had an awesome time dancing with everybody! <3
We went to Marden's house after, and he tried on Katie's dress haha. It was very low key, and it was a good way to unwind after an amazing night. Thanks Marden :)
I took my hair out today, and it was a treasure hunt for bobby pins haha. I'll get you the grand total later...I promise. I think all the hairspray's gone :P
Thank you, everyone that made Prom 2005 a night that we'll all never forget. I couldn't have imagined it better than it actually happened.
