1) Why I like him/her.
2) Why I dislike him/her.
3) What plot I'd use in a fic about him/her.
4) What superpower he/she would have.

Caveat: My answers are dependent upon both canon and fanon Snape, because JKR's characterization of him isn't complete enough to hold more mental weight than fandom's for me.
1) I like Snape because he's intelligent, duplicitous, powerful, manipulative, bitter, mysterious, and snarky. That's a hat trick of my character-kinks. Also, his past is overflowing with unanswered questions and missing scenes. REALLY COOL ONES.
2) I dislike Snape...er. Mostly I dislike canon!Snape. He's petty, inconsistently characterized, irrational, dirty, and whiny. Ahhh, fanfic, the best thing that ever happened to OotP.
3) I've been thinking of writing "This is Snape's life" for NaNo, exploring all the Snapekinks I ever wanted to read in fic and didn't.
4) If he wasn't a wizard, I suppose I'd lunge right at cliche and make him a vampire. Or a necromancer, a la Garth Nix's Abhorsen series.
5) I like Snape with almost everyone. He has such a distinct personality that he makes a great foil.
1) I like Cal because I'm a sucker for snarky teenage POV in a fic and I've liked half-human characters ever since my Spock days. When you can write demonspawn whose little cheeks I want to pinch, I'm impressed.
2) I dislike Cal because he's a woobie. I've developed a fandom-related allergy to woobies that's easy to apply to him. Of course, I can say the same about most of the other characters in the story.
3) BROTHERCEST. Naturally. Oooh ooh ooh or a Supernatural crossover. Or both!
4) Once again, I am left with the answer 'If he weren't demonspawn...' I read a lot of fantasy! Don't judge me! Lessee. If he weren't demonspawn, I'd want him to be an Unseelie faerie a la War for the Oaks.
5) BROTHERCEST. NATURALLY.
1) I like Mohinder because he melted my TV. Also, you know the ep's coming where he accidentally does something terrible to his shirt and has to remove it. And and and--oh yeah, he's smart too. He runs away from bad guys. He's not too proud or macho to show reasonable fear.
2) Uh, his left eyebrow is slightly less perfect than the other one. I got nothing.
3) I really need to type up that Bob-the-math-teacher/Mohinder fic one of these days.
4) He can scorch you with the power of his naked torso. (Objectify? Me?)
5) Pairing Mohinder off wouldn't work for long, I bet. He's the visionary, and his quest would always be more important than his companions.
