1) I like Bob because he's smart. He took two levels of advanced calculus. He has a degree. He does MATH. Bob is sexy. He has a hot drummer bod and hits cameras and is deeply addicted to cigarettes, and noticed my purple mohawk, and remembers every fan he ever saw, and had pus in his brain, and has an emo fringe. A pinch of luck and Bob's natural reticence have made it possible for me to avoid images of him sucking face with skanky, liner-goggled scene chicks. In this blog-clogged, myspace-bestrewn era, ignorance of such activity is a rare blessing. Thank you, Mr. Bryar. Thank you. Sincerely, Nic (age 12 and a half).
2) I don't like Bob because he's got to sit behind those stupid DRUM things instead of being gay with the rest of the band. Bob should rub up on people. And kiss them. And play with Ray's hair.
3) A story where Bob rubbed up on people and played with Ray's hair? Er. That or where he's a lumberjack. Or a mad hacker. Or teaches math and has strange entropic powers.
4) Strange entropic powers related to rhythm and advanced mathematics!
5) I'm a sucker for Bob/Jeph as a crossover, and Bob/Frank in the band, but Bob/Gerard keeps creeping in around the edges. The pretty draws me.

clumsygyrl 1) I like Gil because he's smart--God, are we sensing a theme here? He's brilliant and strangely sexy and unattainable, and socially inept even as he grasps the most subtle motives, and he knows how to talk with his hands and he finds no human behavior beyond understanding, and he rejects and limits no knowledge, and he has no interest in fooling himself, and he's probably kinky.
2) I dislike Gil because he's a little too much of a control freak, and he's a little arrogant and self-impressed and perfect, and--and THIS IS HARD OKAY? His major flaw is that he's too awesome!
3) I still want to write the goth!Nick story where Gil went nuts and is holding Greg hostage. Oooh, NaNo...wait, what?
4) Fi and I already fielded this one in our psychic AU. He has a death sense, where he can judge by people's appearances when they'll pass on and approximately how. He also sees "ghosts" of the future around him in flashes.
5) Het, Gil/Lady Heather all the way. Slash, Nick. Or Greg. Or Nick. Or Greg. Nick. Greg. NickGreg. Nick and Greg?
6) WILD CARD. I've always seen Gil as being the ultimate bisexual, almost a Kinsey type--he'd love people, not bodies or hormonal configurations. He'd be the perfect partner for someone transgendered or asexual, too.

turloughishere 1) I like Kevin because he's long and lean and sexy and vaguely catlike. I like his green eyes and his personality, which is an interesting combo of still water and undertow. He expects--and receives--nothing but the best out of everyone he knows. He remembers to thank fans and staff and crew. He doesn't mind touching people. He's a big brother, complete with sadist tendencies and a certain crudity (can we say televised belching contest, anyone? and then there was the actors-on-strike incident) and he's man enough to wear a skirt and eyeliner and cry and grow out his hair. He follows his dreams. He came back for one last howl. He loves his boys.
2) I dislike Kevin because HE LEFT THE BAND WAAAUUUGHHHHHH. Also, he's smug and arrogant and he never forgets a slight however long it's festered. And he almost never sings alone, so he's hard to hear on albums.
...yeah, pretty weak.
3) I'm still enamored of Kevin the paranormal investigator and his motley crew.
4) He'd do something physical. Super strength, maybe.
5) I love the dynamic of Kevin/Nick. Just the right level of fuckedup.
