We sold our condo (yay!) and had no place to live (boo!) found a house to buy (yay) but it wasn't our dream house (boo) then we couldn't get a loan because I just financed a car and Dave has horrid credit (double boo!) but then we went through a company and I was able to get a tiny loan ( Read more... )

So glad for all these good things, and for the eventual resolution of the not good things!

I can't believe your baby is 2!

Yay for an update! I always read but never update, lol!

I hear ya on the baby front... We've been trying for a year now with only an early miscarriage/chemical to show for it. :/ Some friends know we've been trying but the comments from those that don't can be really frustrating.

People are always way to invasive and hurtful when it comes to questions and opinions regarding someone's journey to have a baby.

That being said I am forever jealous of the ones that get pregnant quickly.

It sounds stupid but Dave and I stopped using birth control when he moved in because we wanted a baby (after 3 months of dating... yes im dumb) It took us well over a year to get pregnant with Sadie. I think it just takes me forever to get pregnant.

No one in my everyday life knows we've been trying for a year so I tend to suffer in silence. My husband is super hopeful that it will happen when the time is right and I'm forever sad that it's not right now.

I've been fairly open about it to some people but, for example, my family has NO clue we're trying to get pregnant. Jason's family does. But we've now been married for over 3 years and the comments are definitely going to start coming up more and more. I try to shrug them off but sometimes it's easier said than done. And some people are just clueless and don't know when to stop.

I'm with your husband - I think it'll happen when the time is right. I don't know why it's not "right" right now but maybe sometime down the road I'll learn that. <3
