Revelations

I spent the past weeks undergoing an excruciating process of introspection and self-realization.

I've been on the verge of breakdown for several months now, and lately it's been quite unbearable to watch myself slowly collapsing. A year ago I would have never expected that someone could have such an impact on my life and to inflict just as much ( Read more... )

Whoever said that it's not true love until it hurts is dead wrong. That's just a way to justify pain, so don't let anyone convince you otherwise. You're right about acceptance, though. A relationship shouldn't be a quest to change your significant other. When you love someone, you take the good along with the bad. Our memories and the lessons we learn from our experiences shape who we are. Sometimes you need to reflect on the past in order to grow and maintain a healthy mindset. I'm sorry that you've been going through a rough time, but you're strong and things will get better eventually. Hang in there, Hannah!

Then I guess I have yet to find my prince charming who will situate me in pure bliss. Thanks for your support Sara--I'm sure there's someone out there that will truly make me happy.

Hope things are going well with you in the love department, which I'm sure they are. ;)

XOXO - hannah

why do girls look for price charming in the first place? why can't they look for prince on the the real. the normal guy who has everything that the prince has except one thing more:

a grip on reality

just random thoughts.

Well I agree with you. There's really no such thing as a "prince charming" like the ones they portray in fairytales. But in my eyes, the guy becomes a "prince charming" when you accept them for who they already are--perfect or not.

I couldn't have said it better myself! The perfect guy for you is the one who you can love despite his flaws, whether they be big or small.
