Im sry u had to do that. i had to put my cat to sleep like a few years ago. i got her when i was 3.. she was the best cat. its not bad that u wonder where her body went. i have no clue where they would take it. we brought our cat home and burried her in the backyard.. i was with her when she died. i was crying so much, but just think about it now she wont hurt ne more. and maybe sumday she will come back as another animal.. I swear my cat did. i was laying in the backyard n a cat that looked just like her came up to me n rubbed up against my feet just like she did. i tried picking her up she wouldnt let me. just like her. then i turned around and went to get cat food and she was gone and i no it was her.
