Trail Buddy!

Okay, so what I really want to do is hike the Appalachian Trail. Thru-hikers (people planning to hike the whole thing) leave in droves from Georgia starting in March. I want to hike for at least a month, ideally starting in March or April (but later if necessary). But my mom, understandably, doesn't want me hiking by myself. So I'm putting out

i don't think i could do the whole thing but i'm not against visiting for week. or two. or three.
it will be thought on.
oh i'm thinking about going cross country again.
first to boston to see those people, then chicago to see sam (?)
then to lincoln to see drew, then slc to see you and then sanfran again to see my work friend rebecca...we could make a detour in las vegas to get me a tatoo or something...i sall call you soon.

after reading dharma bums, i really want to and this post tempts me so much.
but i can't even walk a mile and i complain a lot so i really shouldn't. plus you know, high school.
good luck though, i hope it works out & take a lot of pictures.
