Summary: Nothing and no one cared about what Arthur Kirkland felt, or what Francis Bonnefoy saw, or what Alfred F. Jones said, or what Ludwig heard. In the face of history, it was all numbers.

Every time I see that you've updated your journal, it brings a smile to my face.

I read both of your newer short stories, and I do believe this one is my favorite. I really like how you show the emotions of parts of WWII that the canon never really approaches. Once again, I envy your writing skill.

I feel so sorry for all of them. And you did a wonderful job on showing the personifications having feelings and thoughts on their own, regardless of their governments (as conflicting as that can be for them)
