no you didnt miss it. its this coming thursday at 7. meet us by the lakeland tennis courts so all protestors can go in together. also write a letter to the board.
nothing big for firing him, the administartion just hates him and will find petty reasons to get rid of him

i looked into it... and apperently they arn't firing him so much as they are laying off a ton of non-tenure'd teachers. Two years ago they offered money to teachers to resign/retire, and a lot did, but apperently not enough (or they hired to many people for that in between period). Tannous looks like he is one of these teachers.
This, of course, is the overall situation at Lakeland. I don't know about the T man specficly. If that is the case, then there isn't anything that we can do really...
Having said all of that, I can't make it this thursday (just started a new managering job and they need me thursday from 4-9), but I will write a letter and have it delivered to the board tomorrow morning. :)

yeah thats not the case for tannous, there mad cuz he got computers for the video classes 2 years ago and they still dont work, yet thats not his fault..but yeah, just petty shit like that.
