tounge piercing

got my toungue repierced last night.. w/ clear balls.. i dont care if it looks trashy i like it.. and i just hope the clear balls will prevent me from having my mom see it.. i know she eventually will see it, just hope i get to keep it longer this time

my dad has never seen mine and i've had it (well it closed up from surgery but i got it soon after again) since I was 18 and I'm 23 now, lol

Aren't you over 18? What does it matter if your mom sees it or not, you're an adult!

However, I did just got to a pressure point fighting seminar where a very skilled martial arts master explained how and why piercing the tongue can take as much as 10 years off of your life and create a myriad of health problems. I asked a few different acupuncturists about it and they agree. No bueno. I'll never do it again and I'm glad I'm past that phase.

yeah im like 20yrs old but my mother keeps me on a short leash lol.. cant stay at my boyfriend apartment, i get called a million times a night asking where i am and when im coming home etc etc

hm thats really intresting how it takes years off ur life.. well with me i get bored of my piercings fast im sure it will be out in 6 months unless my mom sees it, then probally sooner lol

Wow... I'd move out! That's crazy. I didn't even have to go through that when I was 16! :)

Unfortunately, they don't know yet if taking it out does any good. They don't have enough long term research yet as tongue piercing has really only been going on for 20 or so years. When I was 19, I had my tongue pierced 3 times at ONCE. I used to work as a piercer (trained by one of the best in the world-- Fakir Musafar) and managed a piercing shop on Ventura Blvd. I could be triple screwed... :(

yeah id move out if i could afford it lol! im just waiting to go away to school when i transfer.. its cuz im the baby of the family
