okay you know when a thunderstorm is about to hit
and there is that ten or so minutes right before
it actually starts raining where its all windy
and the trees are creaking and it gets really dark..

right.. well thats my favorite time.

Plants actually experience a state of rapidly accelerated growth during that time. My favorite time as well, of course the storm itself isn't that bad either.
