I think a lot of people can understand where you're coming from, Mara-love, but it's not all that black and white or cut and dry. Global starvation, poverty, and crime are not simply the product of human disregard or apathy. The idea of equal distribution and social justice is all nice in theory, but it just doesn't play out in reality. Human nature overpowers our good intentions and ideals. We're wired to, however well-intentioned and altruistic we may learn or grow up to be, look out for ourselves when we can. People will work hard though, especially as individuals struggling to survive and succeed in life. Hence, capitalism
