Black-tie was one of those little details which characterized events Sakaki lived for. As such, he broke out his best (and most expensive) tailored three-piece suit and one of his finest silk manscarves - the ice blue one with the diamond cravat pin. All told, he looked fabulous.

He was adjusting the diamond cufflinks he wore as a passing waiter set a glass of red wine in front of him. He knew the vintage would be acceptable, as he had donated the wine from his personal cellar himself.

Relaxing into his chair and sipping his wine, he waited for the students to arrive.

Attempting and failing to be discreet, Inui peeked at Sakaki from behind a plate. Sakaki-sensei seemed like he had a lot of data on many worldly things. It was very awe-inspiring.

Casually sipping his wine, Sakaki made a point of not acknowledging Inui's awkward attempt at subtlety. He was supposed to be a highly distinguished (if slightly aloof and even more slightly inebriated) potential employer. If Inui wanted to talk about anything, he would have to make the first move.

Ryou stood by the dance floor, peeking around at the various people. He wanted to dance, but would it be okay? Could one dance by oneself at an event like this? He didn't suppose anyone would want to dance with him. Or maybe they would but he really didn't want to bother anyone who was busy. His ears flicked slightly, in time with the music, as he debated with himself.

After managing to get away from an unusually friendly Shiraishi, Taki found himself near the dance floor. He looked around, trying to see if there was someone to dance with. He was doing his best to not blush whenever he caught someone's eye but it was impossible. Still, that did nothing to change the wonderful mood he was in.

Shiraishi wished he could go and ask Taki to dance, but the other kept giving him the slip. It was most frustrating.

He looked around to see if there was anyone around he could commiserate with. After all, unrequited love must be shared with others...

In case some of the students need help putting on a tie or finding matching socks... this can take place back at the dorms or in between the dorms and the event area.

"I am positive this is some sort of trick," Atsushi said as he adjusted his tie. "This won't end well, believe me!" he told his twin who was pacing back and forth in front of him, currently in tiger form.

Niou chuckled as he came up on the twins and then wrapped his arms around his boyfriend. "Knowing this school you're right. I bet the first person to use the wrong fork gets detention and the one who slurps too loudly will get snow shoveling duty," Niou said. His cheeks turned a nice crimson colour as he took in the man in his arms just how good he looked in his suit.

Atsushi started slightly and sniffed his boyfriend carefully to make sure it really was him before relaxing slightly. "You're right," he answered darkly. "I bet it's a trap!"

His brother suddenly stopped pacing to flop down at their feet and roll over, presenting his belly for rubs. "Ryou! Get a move on or you'll get in trouble!" Atsushi said. He looked to Niou but was distracted by how lovely his boyfriend was with his blush.

"We'd get in trouble if we just skip, wouldn't we?" he asked with a sigh and a suspicious look at the door.
