Yeah, DOA, that's the name that we chose for the new show. It went well, in my opinion. Not very many call-ins, but I didn't expect there to be many, since pretty much no one outside of mine and the other host's friends know that it's on the air. It was pretty cool. Unfortunately I fell asleep somwhere after Skinny Puppy. But that's a compliment because music that sucks only keeps me awake. Hahaha. I know of some good stuff for you to play but I don't have a clue about the legal stuff that goes into it. I was tempted to call in, but ultimately was too shy. :( Can you get the rights to play Rammstein or Fields of the Nephilim? Well, here's a few bands you might not have heard of that I've gotten into since finding them on the 'net.

We're a non-commercial, educational station, so we can play pretty much anything that's in our format, as long as the FCC allows (no unedited terribly foul or crude language). And, if you want to request something, please call in. It lets us know that people are actually listening, which makes us happy.

Thanks for the compliments on the show. I'll check out those bands.

I wasn't sure if you'd have Rammstein or Fields though. It's cool that you can pretty much play anything you want. I thought radio stations had to pay for every time they play a song and such.

Commercial stations do. Since we're educational, we don't have to pay royalties. And, we don't have advertisements, besides ones for radio-related things.
