Change. Seems like everyone I know is going through some life-altering process. I'm applying for grad school. Jo quit her job in order to find her true calling. Dina's moving to Toronto. Steve's finally in a relationship. Matt, too. For my dad, it's cancer ( Read more... )

This advice came from someone that tried to help me when I was going through some rough stuff. I hope her words help you as much as they helped me. Take care!

Stay strong for yourself, your family and most importantly your dad. We will say a prayer for him and for everyone he touches. Family is all we truly have, and truly can count on. Hopefully soon this cancer will pass, and this time it will not come back, and your dad can celebrate with some insanely hot green chiles... in fact i will cut some into my dinner tonight in honor of him and his fight :)

I'm sorry to hear about your dad - but I admire your strength. Seems like everyone's been going through their own fights as of late - your father has his fight, and you have yours.

I pray for you and your family and hope all will turn out well.
