thanks. only a week...but it was enough...i can't take a vacation for longer than a week or else i start worrying that my life in the Real will go on w/o me.

Great pics N! Wow so jealous you get to go to these places, I'm sure u had a wonderful time, thanks for sharing this! What was your fav. thing that u did there? And I like the blurry pic too even though it didn't turn out well.

hi, j! don't be jealous! let's see..my fave thing...gosh...our daily trips to the corner patisserie for pain au chocolat. made us feel like a true parisienne. in juan-les-pins? sunbathing at a private beach while chowing down on moules frites (aka mussels with fries).

yes, i have been to france with my parents when i was 15. this was my first real trip there as an "adult" (notice the air quotes). a totally different experience. and McDs? no, jovie went to get a soft serve ice cream cone sans picketers.

oh yes..the food is quite rich there. loved eating in the Latin Quarter. however, i did notice that their Asian food was definitely catered toward the French eater...not nearly as spicy...rather tame, in fact.

Marseille is the equivalent of Culver City in L.A....umm...lots of Moroccans, not much to see or do, not tourist friendly either. But hey, Usher was there and seemed to do fine!
