Sometimes we have to see our faults in others to realize how our actions affect others; sometimes we just figure it out. I used to go up to Washington DC to visit a friend, but I'd ruin my visit by getting mad (partially because my friend who lived up there, didn't have a car and she gets lost easily as it is, so of course being my navigator meant... we'd get lost!). After a few visits, I realized this was straining my friendship, so I started to put in an extra effort to avoid getting mad and my visits were wayyyyy better.
