Well... I guess that's that then!

End of the year has come. It's been a real roller-coaster of emotions this year. There were points where I really didn't think I would get through it... but get through it I did, mostly down to my wonderfully supportive colleagues who have kept me smiling (almost) all year ( Read more... )

i love the 'do :) and you look so youuung :)

little m´s teacher - it´s her first 'own' class - she was really touched, when all the kids came with a single flower to her at our 'end of term' party - she said they have become quite close to each other over the year... i really really hope she´ll stay for the whole first four years - she´s great. she´ll marry this september too - i hope she´s not planning her own little family yet... ;)

if she doesn´t get preggers or anything, yes :)

i think that´s a good thing - but that´s because i think they´re really lucky with her.

Enjoy Brussels... there's an amazing pub called Halloween just off (IIRC) le Rue Midi. It's near the sci-fi/comic shop on le Rue Midi, but is just down a little street to the side. It has incredible decor... floor to ceiling gargoyles and a 'torture room', LOL!

At least it was there last time I went to Brussels, although that was about 4-5 years ago! Must have another trip there, but probably not for a couple of years... I've still got trips to Germany and Sweden this year, and next year I'm planning to go to Prague, Amsterdam, and Germany at least twice!

Great, thanks for that some of us were wondering if there were any "alternative" kind of places over there! I'll persuade the others to maybe try it!!!

Prague or Amsterdam were the other possibles but the Eurostar won it in the end :)

You're such a jet-setter!!! :D
