Her Majesty the Cat

The cat was feeling lazy this weekend and would actually hold still for pictures. Usually she either dislikes the shutter noise and moves away, or gets fascinated by the camera or the red autofocus light and comes over to investigate -- too close to focus. But I have a couple of really nice shots now that give some idea of her rather complex

That second one looks like she is thinking, "Yes, human, I'm ready for my close-up." You must spend all day petting such soft lovely fur.
