Rose and Maia's apartment, Wednesday night. Kitchen. With tea.

Rose sighed and leaned against the counter in the kitchen. It was hard keeping everything that'd happened over the last few months time she was gone from Maia, and it was really killing her inside. All she wanted to do was take Maia in her arms and tell her everything, but she was afraid that once Maia found out how long Rose had been gone

Maia heard Rose talking to herself in the kitchen, she made out a couple of the words, the main ones being stupid being in love She stood frozen in the dinning room feeling slightly sick at the words but before she allowed herself to get upset and angry she took a deep breath and pushed the door to the kitchen open.

Swallowing hard she made sure her voice was steady before she spoke. "Hey Rose." She said with a nod before opening the fridge door to get some water. Hey Rose? Could I get any more formal then that other then Hello Ms. Tyler. Maia scowled at herself into the fridge as she moved around a few things to reach a bottle of water.

Rose stopped dead in the middle of what she was doing. How much had Maia heard? Oh, God, please don't let her have heard everything. This is not how I want her to find out, Rose thought to herself.

Forcing a smile, she turned and wrapped her arms around Maia's waist. "Hey, beautiful. You okay?"

Maia nodded and leaned into the hug. "Yeah I'm ok. I ran into Paige today." Maia said in a casual voice, "You know she and Jack are pretty good friends. He helped her out last week..." Maia waited for Rose to speak, if she didn't then Maia would attempt to ask her flat out again but last time Rose had avoided it. Maia turned into Rose's hug and faced her.

Rose kissed the side of Maia's neck, pulling her against her.

"Yeah, I think he'd mentioned her. She's the witch, yeah?" Another kiss, then a nibble. "Whatcha been doing, baby? Kinda missed you, y'know."
