The restructuring of the Council is still a cause of heated debate amongst the elder Members. For instance, the question of whether each Slayer still has one Watcher has been debated endlessly. Er, have you considered the possibility that this green demon is not responsible for any of these deaths? I'd hate to see a good demon killed...

When did I say I was killing the demon? I am simply investigating it, attempting to discern its origin.

Just some thoughts... anonymous June 9 2004, 15:03:50 UTC
On a hunt for a green demon? That sounds interesting. For some reason, I thought of the Eloko of the rain forests in Zaire. It's the height of a dwarf. (Would that be taller than a Leprechaun? Hard to say since the latter are fictitious.) Instead of fur, the Eloko has grass growing all over with clothing made of leaves. Despite this odd description, it's one of the scarier demons I've read about. It has the ability to enchant its human victims with musical bells then eat them.

However, unless someone imported one, I'd bet that you're dealing with some kind of sea demon. Those are often green, and Ireland is on an island. There are accounts of sea fairies known as Merrow indigenous to the waters along the Irish coast. Similar to mermen in description, the males are quite ugly and have green hair.

Good luck. I'm looking forward to seeing what you learn from your investigation.
