If A, then B. X=A, then B=X.

According to Socrates, ignorance is sin.
According to popular cliche, ignorance is bliss.
Does that make sin equivalent to bliss?
[Or maybe I'm just using faulty syllogism.]

I'd say most sin is blissful. If there is such a thing as sin.

Sin is subjective.

We should hang out and talk philosophy sometime. I mean that in a laid-back, sit on the porch with a slight buzz way, not in a door-to-door religion-soliciting way, because I find the latter to be extremely disturbing and fanatical.

Yes.

How are classes?

I've had a lot of run-ins with fanatics lately. They all make me rather uncomfortable. I wonder if fanaticism is related to manic disorder...

Anyway, I'd love to hang out sometime and talk. We should do it before it gets too cold outside. When are you free?

Classes are super. I'm pretty excited about them. IvyTech is easypeasy, and the professors are great. 3/4 of mine are NERDS. What more could I ask for? Other than the gorgeous, 30-year-old, extremely intelligent Western Civ professor I had at Ball State... How are yours so far?
