Now that I have my own house,
it seems like having a cute guard dog would be a great addition, right?
The thing is this, my room mate has wanted a dog for quite some time, and every time she asks for one, I tell her no. Now I want a Golden Retriever (I had one when I was younger).

fyi: goldens ARE NOT guard dogs. they'll play fetch with burglars. the fact that you said "cute guard dog" should tell you right there haha.
