Aww, sounds like you had a great time.

Highly amusing that thinking of Katy appeared to be followed by remembering you forgot to pack boxer shorts :)

Aww, A bar named Olivers, thank you for thinking of me :)

Nice pics, looks like a fun night.

yeah day 2 was cool, meeting new people, and there are women that play eve. Female gamers seem to be so cool.

LOL!!

Great to see your write up Darren. Yay for there being a craft shop and you do well with socialising with all these people from the Eve. I suppose you're all in the same boat (well, hotel) though :-)

That sounds amazing :) I'd love to go away and make new friends just like that! Glad you're having a good time.

Usually I find it hard to make new friends, but at this event everyone is there for one reason, the game of Eve Online. Its not that hard after that.

Iceland is such a cool country to go to. I will def be going next year.

It's good that you found a like-minded group of people to spend time with!

Hi Helen,

Yes its cool, they come from all sorts of countries, Iceland, Sweden, Denmark, Australia, Canada and US to name a few.

You could be enemies in the game, but when it comes to the Eve fanfest. being an enemy would not get in the way of drinking a beer and enjoying a good chat about current affairs or upcoming stuff in game.
