Have you ever watched the Episode of Sex & The City where Carrie expresses her undying love for NYC for pretty much the entire episode? I am now confident in saying I completely understand. Personally I don't see much similar about CDA & Seattle beyond them both being next to water.

Seattle was just voted most overpriced city. Poor job growth & expensive real estate being the reasons.

The water, beaches (kirkland), greenery, weather. I have to have "natural" lakes and beaches - no reservoirs.

I saw that article too, but they did mention that the dot.com bust had an effect on the results, and I'm looking to rent, not live.

The dot com boom was short lived, as was the bust. The .com bust was like 4 years ago, they really need to find another scapegoat :P

Yeah, They just mentioned in the article that it had an effect on the rating, especially being that they were composed of many different factors.
