Hey, you guys remember that acrylic painting that I said I was working on a while ago? I just finished it yesterday. I only have one WIP (work-in-progress) shot though, but it's still pretty neat to see how much it changed and how much detail and work was put into it to get it to its stage of completion.

Haha thank you!! :D I'm glad you like it, especially considering when I first did fortune's face, something really just threw me off about his eyes. I think I got it pretty good though :) And it TOTALLY looks better in person, I'm sure you'll see it when you visit next :D

the fake comment: you silly shit. this looks fucking horrible. the dog's fur isn't scruffy enough. That little wooden post looks like something that came out of my butt last night. AND. that wallpaper is fucking atrocious. Do you know what art is?? clearly you don't.

the real comment: you amazing shit. this looks fucking incredible. With three different pugs, you were able to capture their individual personalities and I've never even met them. haha. Also, It feels like I already know how that chair feels thanks to your choice of color and brushstroke. It is with abilities like that that make you my favorite artist.

I love you, brother. keep art alive. :D

lmao what's funny, is I see posts like that on conceptart.org from time to time. no joke :P

but anyhoo, thanks man!! :D haha i worked my butt off on this one. I think I spent maybe.... 20, 25, heck maybe even 30 hours working on it. So I'm happy with how it came out, which is a shocker. hahaha :P

Just to let you know, my friend/new roommate came in to stop looking at pictures of dogs and go check in. and then i told him it wasn't a picture and that it was a painting and he was like, "wait, that's a painting?!" and came back for a second look. soooooo I think that says something.
