so. apparently Brokeback Mountain is causing a lot of comotion. i really really REALLY want to go see it but as its only playing in maitland i havent gotten a chance to yet. well. it turns out that some christian organizations were fighting to keep it out of mainstream theaters and it looks like theyve suceeded. i am a strong supporter of gay

It's not playing in movie theaters around Orlando because it's an independent film, and, I believe on a limited release schedule meaning that they're gradually releasing it and at this point it's only in 'artsy' film places.

However, I'm sure there are some theatres not playing it for silly reasons.

It is playing at the enzian, however, which is really only about 15 minutes away. Plus it's really nice and cheap.

It's all about money making and I think as theatres start to see how much people want to see this then they'll start showing it.

it's actually not an independent film.. but it is still on a limited release schedule.. i had to go check my infos
